Alaw was composed in 2015 for the debut CD release of Tom Hutchinson, principal cornet of the Cory Band. It's a gentle lullaby inspired by Alaw Clement, the first daughter of one of my oldest friends, a name which translates from Welsh as 'melodious' our 'flowing'.
