Concerto for Euphonium and Band has been named winner of the American Bandmasters Association Sousa - ABA - Ostwald Composition Award for 2025. Sincere congratulations to fellow finalist composers Erika Svanoe, Satoshi Yagisawa, and Thiemo Kraas. This is the second major recognition awarded to Tom's music for winds, with A Midwestern Suite winning the National Band Association Merrill-Jones Composition Award in 2022. |
